I also asked a tech friend out of the USA what they thought when I continue to have crashes. Anyhow, I'm going to go back to this repair guy and have him install the capacitor recommended by Louis Rossman Repair Group or Edward on this site. So I got a new AC adapter and the problem was solved. I finally got a Rogers Tech that knew what she was talking about and she discovered that I had the wrong AC adapter with the wrong voltage connecting the modem to the outlet. I know nothing about electronics but recall a situation this year where I kept losing internet connectivity from my Rogers Rocket modem. I used the computer all day yesterday and it only crashed twice, which makes me believe that you need the right capacitor and right voltage.

I have no idea what voltage it is but the crashes are far less. Took it back and he popped in another aluminum version of a 470MicroFarad instead of the 330Microfarads that came with the board.
